Punching Up-Episode 36-Hope

To paraphrase the great English writer Oscar Wilde,
“Each man kills the thing he loves, the coward does it with a kiss, the brave man with a… podcast.”

The brave man in this instance is Damian. The thing he loves is South Korean cinema. The object of his disappointment and pugilistic rage, Na Hong-jin’s cops and hunters vs destructive lanky aliens, 2026 critical smash, Hope. Damian has loved everything Na Hong-jin has ever made.
But not Hope. Damian doesn’t like Hope at all.

So, to quote the great Italian poet Dante Alighieri,
“Abandon Hope, all ye who enter here.”
