Hi, my name is Damian Asher and I have been a passionate lover of film since as far back as I can remember.

I come from a background of acting and enjoy a more nuanced perspective from the norm.

To counter the generic reviews all over the media, I am looking to bring a fresh voice to the table that would attempt to view films in a different way.

A lot of the films I write about I haven’t seen the trailers as I like to approach my experience with fresh eyes.
In my musings I don’t deal in spoilers, sometimes I’ll not even talk plot.

Film, like any art form has the potential to move, inspire and make you think.
This is a good thing, nay a great thing.
